This event is hosted by The Loa Fund. More than 95% of people dealing with substance abuse and a co-occurring disorders receive little or no effective treatment. Below are three obstacles preventing Americans from getting the needed treatment:

  1. Stigma that surrounds mental illnesses

  2. Unfair treatment limitations and financial requirements placed on mental health benefits in private health insurance.

  3. The fragmented mental health service delivery system

By donating to the Loa fund, you will be helping to address these barriers and becoming directly involved in making positive change for a family in need.
