JUNIPER CANYON COORDINATOR
HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
Early on in the beginning of Juniper Canyon Recovery Center for Women, Flora always knew it was important to give women the same opportunity as men to become clean and sober. It was her passion to help young women direct their lives in healthy relationships, recovery, and self-efficacy. "Women have so much to offer the world." She is an advocate for women in leadership positions. "I think young women need to see women in top positions, and that we are very capable of guiding and directing business in healthy ways."
Flora has worked in both a residential setting where she was Educational Director for Aspen Ranch and public schools teaching experiential education. Her belief is to teach the whole person through connections with nature and other disciplines. She has been ranked among the top teachers in the state of Utah with awards in pioneering internet as a tool for learning and teacher of the year in her district.
